Situated in the nation's capital at a world-class institution, the Global Women's Institute (GWI) has great depth of experience from not only its own staff, but from the dedicated partners who share their time, knowledge and expertise. GWI collaborates with leaders in the field from right here in Washington, DC, across the country and around the world to build a network of people committed to improving the lives of women and girls. Their mission is to advance equality through research, education and action to bring about change with the ultimate goal of having a world where women and girls have the same rights and opportunities as men and boys, and are free from discrimination, violence and coercion.
