Description
The Global Working Group to End SRGBV (SRGBV WG) was established in 2014 as a coalition of 35 of the leading donor, civil society, academic and UN agencies to advocate for attention to SRGBV as a critical barrier to achieving the sustainable development goals. Co-chaired by UNESCO and UNGEI, the SRGBV WG is a platform for representatives from civil society, academia, education unions, the UN and ministries of education to share, exchange evidence and promising approaches from a range of contexts. The members of the SRGBV WG bring policy and program expertise from the fields of health and HIV, education, child protection, violence against women and girls and gender equality.
