The most effective approaches will depend on the particular challenges facing girls and their families. Understanding those challenges—and tailoring our responses effectively—will be key to success.

A new path forward

EGER developed its needs, evidence, and practice framework to close the gap between education policies and what actually works. Too often, governments and organizations invest in programs without knowing if they make a real impact, while researchers chase interesting questions that don’t always match what girls' actually need. That’s where the Girls’ Education Roadmap comes in. By connecting the dots between needs, evidence and practice, we help ensure that investments go where they’re needed most and are backed by solid research.
