IPA: COVID-19 Response Research
- R Research Project/Report/Study
? Activity Status: Unknown
Key Information
This project is a collaboration between Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), the Kenyan Institute for Curriculum Development (KICD), and Precision Development (PD). Together the partners are working to design, implement, and evaluate an interactive two-way SMS platform that enables children to complete math problems using even very basic phones. We are exploring how to disseminate the service through teachers as well as investigating how users engage with the service across a time period that includes school closures, vacation, and the return to school.
Separately, IPA has research and policy partnerships looking into distance learning across a number of different contexts and including multiple approaches: basic descriptive statistics, qualitative work, policy discussions, and full RCTs.
