Key Information
The program aims to create access to quality education in for children in Raya Zebo District of the Tigray Region. It has two components: (1) Community mobilisation/sensitization about girls education and capacity building for local partners/actors and schools; and (2) Construction of schools - constructing and furnishing classrooms and creating access to toilets for girls.The key interventions are:
- Supporting girls' clubs
- Establishing safe spaces for girls in schools
- Provision of dignity kits for girls
- Capacity building training and refresher workshops
- Provision of start up capitals for saving and income generating activities.
- Construction of libraries, classrooms and girls’ rooms.
