? Activity Status: Unknown

Key Information

The Ministry of Education and Human Development (MINEDH) trained around 3,000 girls in digital literacy in the provinces of Manica and Sofala, an initiative that aims to empower and retain girls in school. MINEDH's challenges are to improve the poor performance at the end of the first cycle of primary education, ensuring that more girls attend science and mathematics areas. To face the challenges, the Ministry plans to continue with the implementation of education packages, particularly for girls, mobilize resources for the implementation of policies and strategies and reinforce monitoring of the implementation of policies leading to the promotion of equality of gender.
