The Future is Now! Building knowledge and skills base of adolescent girls for a productive adult life

  • P Project/Program

Key Information

This project works with expectant teens/teenage mothers and other vulnerable girls who dropped out of school in the last 3 years (2018 - 2020). It facilitates their access to curriculum content via USSD/SMS and links them back to formal schools or vocational skills training, evualtually connecting them to wage or self employment. This project is based on the premise that teenage pregnancy does not necessitate the end of education if parenting students are given opporunities to resume schooling or are supported to undertake alternative livelihood paths.
