Key Information

The Bogota Women's Office has launched a media strategy titled "Tejiendo Mundos de Igualdad con Niños y Niñas" (Weaving Equality Worlds with Boys and Girls). This initiative creates an interactive learning space, both in-person and online, to foster a deeper comprehension of gender, sex, gender roles, and equality.

Using radio and television programs, this strategy employs games, readings, and pedagogical activities to educate children about their rights, while involving their families in the process. The primary focus of the strategy is to enhance socio-emotional skills in Early Childhood Education and reshape children's perceptions and understanding of gender roles.
