Key Information

To improve education outcomes of primary and lower secondary school children and to increase the effectiveness of select management systems.

The Project’s emphasis on improving the education outcomes of primary and lower secondary school children and increasing the effectiveness of select management systems is very much in line with the country’s revised education sector strategy for 2021-2030. The government’s investment in the implementation of this strategy, including through a new World Bank education project under preparation, will allow for the maintenance and expansion of the results achieved under the current Project, with a particular focus on maintaining and increasing the gains made in enhanced access for girls to a quality schooling.
