Key Information

Rachels - Remote Area Community Hotspots for Education and Learning – are portable, battery-powered devices that contain content from educational websites in offline format. This means that RACHELS can wirelessly deliver free digital educational content to nearby tablets, laptops, or smartphones where no internet infrastructure exists.

In 2021, For the Good began piloting their first RACHEL in partnership with the new school in Olmesutie. This pilot programme is allowing them to test sustainable solutions to extend our COVID remote learning program and bring interactive, student-centered content to students living in remote, offline villages.
