Key Information
The sponsorship program provides the opportunity of education in secondary school, college or vocational training to a former street connected girls who have passed through Rescue Dada Centre's rehabilitation process. Girls are sponsored to finished the Kenyan Certificate of Primary Education, to pursue vocational courses, or to proceed to secondary education. This program seeks to work with girls who are determined to succeed in education but who are unable to afford school or training fees. The ability of the parents and caregivers to pay education fees is assessed by Rescue Dada Centre staff through a Livelihood Assessment Tool and clearly defined criteria are used to inform decisions about sponsorship need.
