Key Information

During the COVID-19 pandemic children could no longer go to school. To help, Bridge International Academies developed the Bridge@home programme to ensure that children could continue to learn and grow. They devloped materials to keep children on the path to success and make sure that their learning is disrupted as little as possible, including: self study activities, learnig guides, digital storybooks, and mobile freindly quizzes.

- Self Study Activity Packets are scientifically-based to help pupils studying at home practise and learn core concepts from the Syllabus. Self Study Activity Packets include sufficient practise problems, comprehension passages and other activities that help pupils progress through the core topics curriculum.

- Learning Guides are parent-friendly learning guides designed to be able to be used by a member of the household with a pupil. Learning guides are short lessons that can be easily led by an older member of the household, along with targeted practise and answer keys.

- Digital storybooks are keeping children reading while schools are closed by providing hundreds of stories in a virtual library.

- Bridge@Home Mobile Friendly Quizzes are an effective strategy for helping students practice and retain what they learned. They have hundreds of grade-appropriate quizzes in multiple subjects available. Quizzes provide students an opportunity to practice a wide range of skills, from using vocabulary to solving math equations.
