Key Information

Since 2006, this program has faciliated a holistic process to girls' transitioning from a mindset of marginalization to that of economic empowerment. The process leverages existing infrastructures at partner high schools where Global Give Back Circle provides girls access to digital, life, and workforce-readiness skills, give back community service opportunities, and one-to-one mentorship. The process also leverages the reach of communications technology to connect girls with dedicated mentors – women, local or oceans away, committed to broadening her frame-of-reference around career, vocational, employment, and entrepreneurship, opportunities. Building awareness around STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture & Math) opportunities continues to grow in importance as more and more girls are finding their passion in these areas.
