Description

Kenan Foundation Asia works in Thailand and the region to inspire students, develop skilled people, and grow strong leaders by empowering them with the knowledge, technology, and skills necessary for a better future. Whether it’s an entrepreneur, a small business owner, a teacher, a student, a community leader, or a non-profit manager, they conduct tailored, engaging activities to train, coach and equip them so they can achieve their dreams. Kenan promotes gender equality and actively equips disadvantaged populations with the necessary skillsets to increase economic opportunities and support inclusive growth, while also building health, financial and digital literacy, 21st century skills, gender awareness, and leadership skills. Kenan Foundation was established in 1996 as an independent, locally registered organization with the belief that long-term development can best be achieved through free enterprise mechanisms, boundary-spanning partnerships, and practical expertise. With former Prime Minister Anand Panyarachun serving as founding chairperson, Kenan began by fostering development partnerships between U.S. and Thai organizations
