Description

Feed the Children is an international, non-profit relief organization founded in 1979 in Oklahoma City, USA. They are dedicated to helping families and communities achieve stable lives by providing food and assistance. In the United States they distribute product donations of food and other items from corporate donors through our network of local community partners. They also provide classroom support and school supplies to students in vulnerable areas, and mobilize resources to aid natural disaster recovery efforts. Internationally, they manage child-focused community development programs focused on reducing hunger and malnutrition, teaching about health, and promoting self-reliance. Feed the Children Kenya assists children who were physically challenged, operates the Abandoned Baby Centre, and implements a School Meals Program aimed at encouraging children to attend school, improve school retention rates and reduce school drop-outs rates.
