Description

The Summit Foundation is a private family foundation established in 1991. We are committed to a world where people can thrive and nature can flourish. We seek to promote the health and well-being of the planet – its people and its natural environment – by achieving gender equality, protecting the earth’s biodiversity and making cities livable. In line with Sustainable Development Goal 5, the Equality for Women and Girls Program's vision is that girls and women achieve full equality and are fully empowered, valued by their families and communities, and have viable pathways to quality education, health, employment and fully participate in civic and political life.
