Description
Organization for Development in Action, shortly known as “ODA” is a non-religious, non-political, and not-for-profit Ethiopian Resident Charity organization founded in September 2002 by a group of professionals from different fields of studies. ODA envisages seeing society alleviated from poverty through facilitating sustainable community based development and humanitarian projects and programs in its target areas with special emphasis on women, children and people with disabilities. Education,Food Security, Health, Child Development and Empowering Persons’ with Special Needs are the main program components of ODA.
ODA legally registered under the Ministry of Justice and re-registered under Charities and Civil Societies Agency (ChSA) in October 2009 holding registration number 0061. It also renewed its license every three years and the recent renewal was in 30/05/ 2019 based on the New CSO Law.
