Description
The Hunger Project aims to end hunger and poverty by pioneering sustainable, grassroots, women-centered strategies and advocating for their widespread adoption in countries throughout the world. The Hunger Project understands that hunger and poverty are complex issues and sustainable change requires a holistic solution. Its programs are women-centered, community-led responses that address the root causes of hunger and poverty, one of which is education.
The Hunger Project therefore promotes equal education for girls, implements preschool and school feeding programs, supports Youth Ending Hunger Education campaigns, and creates functional adult educational programs.
