Description
Centre for Catalyzing Change (C3) is an organization committed to ensuring no woman or girl in India is denied her basic rights.
For over 30 years, we have been designing and implementing interventions that work with the existing systems to deliver solutions at scale. We engage with girls and women at every stage of their life span, ensuring young girls have access to health and nutrition, to life skills education and digital literacy as they navigate through adolescence. Our programs aim to enable them to stay in school, delay
their marriage, pursue career aspirations, make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health. We ensure that all women are aware and have access to livelihood opportunities, quality reproductive and maternal health services, and respectful care. We equip grassroots women leaders to strengthen their voices and advance women’s issues in their communities and society at large. C3 strives to offer unwavering support at every step of the way to achieve gender equality.
The process of achieving gender equality also requires fundamental, systemic changes – changes, that can be sustained over a long period of time, that can translate into lasting socio-economic impact. And so, C3 works closely with systems and those who run
these systems, from local health institutions and service providers, schools, teachers and principals, Panchayats, Anganwadis and other government authorities, state and national ministries and government officials. We work in regions of India that need us the most – regions that are often remote, resourcepoor and where patriarchal barriers are deeply pronounced.
