Description
Rural Development Foundation (RDF) is a not-for-profit organization working for the betterment of communities, with special focus on human rights, child rights women empowerment, girls’ education, advocacy, reproductive health and DRR. RDF's mission is to improve the quality of life of women, young girls, children and people who are transgender by using a people-focused structure to promote individual well-being and social advancement, and to develop a culture of participation and organization that meets the needs of individuals. Rural Development Foundation aims to empower communities to articulate demand and access their rights by enhancing their leadership and building networks. They are currently engaged in prevention of gender-based violence, promoting equal access to opportunities for transgender people, and the prevention of forced and child marriages in Sindh. They also have a separated program for sexual and reproductive health and HIV AIDS prevention.
